Always Be Humble and Kind

At the Ranch Summer Program, we start with a mindset every morning… A powerful reminder of who we are and why we do what we do. 

In this crazy, fast-paced, narcissistic, self-indulgent world full of pretentiousness and the synthetic… We ALL need to be reminded of what is ACTUALLY important in our lives. 

Within the past six months, I ran across an old song, and it reminded me why I liked it so much in 2016.

I urge you to look up and watch this video every Sunday night before you go to bed or Monday morning when you get up. (Preferably both.) It should help ground you and remind you that whatever life throws at you, always be humble and kind.

Know the difference between sleeping with someone

And sleeping with someone you love

“I love you” ain’t no pick-up line

Hold the door, say “please,” say “thank you”

When it’s hot, eat a root beer popsicle

Shut off the AC and roll the windows down

Don’t take for granted the love this life gives you

When you get where you’re going, don’t forget turn back around
