2026 Fall Night Classes
What Does Your Pitcher Need to Improve Before Spring?
Lots of pitching programs can tell you what they plan to do this fall.
At the Texas Baseball Ranch®, we’d rather show you what more than two decades of individualized pitcher development has produced.
The Ranch has worked with four Cy Young Award winners and, to date, Ranch athletes have produced:
702 pitchers who have broken 90 mph
242 pitchers who have topped 94 mph
34 pitchers who have exceeded 100 mph
149 athletes who have been drafted
Those results didn’t come from putting every pitcher through the same program.
They came from figuring out what each pitcher needed—and building the plan around him.
And that’s exactly how we approach our Fall Night Classes.
Every pitcher begins with an individual assessment, including video analysis, followed by customized programming based on what that athlete needs to improve.
That may include:
- Velocity development
- Command and the ability to throw more strikes
- Pitch design and better secondary pitches
- Arm-care work
- Recovery protocols
- Strength work
- Ongoing measurement to track progress
At the Ranch, velocity alone has never been the goal.
We believe in the AND.
Velocity AND arm health.
Velocity AND command.
Velocity AND recovery.
Velocity AND better secondary pitches.
Velocity AND a plan for spring.
Fall games give pitchers valuable opportunities to compete.
But games reveal where a pitcher is today. Focused training gives him the opportunity to build what he’ll need tomorrow.
So if you already know what you’d like to see different when your pitcher takes the mound next spring, fall is the time to start building it.
Class Schedule

September 2nd – January 27th

Enrollment capped at 30 pitchers

What to Expect
Each session opens with a short talk on a key aspect of pitching development, giving athletes insight into the why behind their training.
From there, athletes move through a full-body warm-up sequence followed by targeted arm-care work.
Then we throw—with athletes grouped according to individual needs and goals so each pitcher can focus on what matters most to his development.
Training may include velocity work, command development, pitch design, recovery work, and other individualized priorities identified through the athlete’s assessment and ongoing measurement.
Every class wraps up with post-throwing arm care to help athletes recover and prepare for the next session.
Build Toward a Better Spring
The offseason is your opportunity to make meaningful changes without the pressure of in-season competition.
If your pitcher needs more velocity, better command, a healthier arm, stronger recovery, or better secondary pitches, the Fall Night Class gives him structured time to work on it.
