Does the Plan Really Matter?

By Jonathan Massey-

Most people believe that the hardest part of training is the actual training itself. Don’t misunderstand, I am not saying the training is going to be easy. In fact, the training will still be pretty difficult, but the hardest part of training is getting the right plan.

Tony Robbins says, “I don’t care how fast you run. If you run East looking for a sunset, it just ain’t ever going to happen.”

Without the right plan, nothing else really matters. That’s why we at the Texas Baseball Ranch® spend so much time, effort, and energy trying to thread that needle perfectly. Every player that comes to us goes through a battery of different assessments and/or audits to create the perfect plan.

We try to leave no stone unturned because if we mismatch, if we get the wrong plan, then the best-case scenario is a player works really hard and sees little to no improvement. But if we get it right… thread that needle perfectly… magic can happen. I’ve witnessed it time and time again, it happened for me and it could happen for you too.
